If you're not seeing anything when you launch BoxVR it is possible that it may be due to a hardware issue.
So you're able to check if this is the case, please take the following steps:
- Restart your system.
- Ensure you have the latest firmware updates for your device (for PC players, i it's also recommended that you check your video card drivers).
- Unplug the VR headset from your system and reconnect, ensuring all the connectors are secured correctly.
If you are still experiencing issues, it may be best to contact our Support Team so they can investigate why you may be experiencing issues.
If you are a PC player, you can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your output log attached. This will allow us to see where exactly the issues may be occurring.
Finding the Output Log
This log can be typically found in the following directory:
NB: Typically the AppData folder is hidden by default, so you may have to reveal any hidden folders or files to correctly view this folder.
Within the folder you should find a text file labeled:
This will contain all of the information about what happened the last time you ran BoxVR and should let us know of any errors you may be experiencing.
Attach this file to your email and from here we will investigate the issue further.
